Using the File manager
- Disable virtual memory if it is being used on the card.
- Launch the File manager.
- Select the memory card to be reformatted.
- Open the File manager's menu.
- Open the "Tools" sub-menu.
- Select "Format memory card..."
- Tap the "OK" button.
